Brand Watch Kids – Ver de Terre

As many of you may know, I’ve been featuring a lot of Scandinavian brands recently. They really have been cleaning up when it comes to top quality, stylish and super-effective kids clothes. Whether it be Angulus for shoes or FUB for knitwear one thing the Danes know how to do is take something functional and soup it up to the max.

Ver de Terre is a twenty-yr old snowsuit and outerwear brand from Denmark. I tend to especially like to source from this part of the world because they know how to make super-warm clothing for properly cold winters. You don’t just looks but also brains with the Danes! If you want a pretty winter coat with no substance then there are many places to look, but if you want something really special that will keep your child toasty even under Arctic conditions then look no further. With a huge range of coats and jackets, from the down-filled (almost too warm!) to a lightweight breathable filling that is wind and water proof, the design is exceptional and the fabric quality is impossible to beat. They use clever design; elasticated inner-wrists for example, concealed inside pockets and for that added touch of true luxury- real fur (ethically sourced) in the detachable hood. I love it for school and day-to-day. It’s a coat to live in this winter. Also, I great design feature is the longer length, offering added protection so that the kids can stay outside catching the vitamin D all winter long.
