I can’t feel my bottom! (and my eyesight is failing)

September 14, 2011 by admin

Oh god! Where to start today? I have million of things going through my head, some of which I am happy to share, others which I am not so. I’m alone again today so you know what that means; immature mummy-to-be Pregnantcitygirl is lonely and bored (‘don’t use that word, it’s a horrible word!’). I’m watching ‘This Morning’ (what a load of old rubbish) and sitting in bed (again) my bottom becoming increasingly numb the longer I sit here laptop fittingly perched on  my lap! Continue Reading

Todays the day for 3/D/4D scan part 2. DVD imminently!

September 12, 2011 by admin

Mirror Maze

Just a quick catch-up really, ahead of our visit back to Cocoon4D to complete filming of ‘Baby Pregnantcitygirl-The Movie’. I’m very excited and can’t wait to see what Baby is up to today, or as the case may be, to see if, at least, Baby Pregnantcitygirl is feeling like filming! Although we were only there last week, it’s brilliant seeing the baby. It is moving more and more at the moment, to the extent that you can now see my tummy move rather than just feel the kicks when you touch my stomach. Only 10 weeks to go and counting. I’m desperate to meet my baby and desperate to know whether it’s a boy or a girl. The suspense is killing me! Continue Reading

3D & 4D Pregnancy Scan Experience Part 1!

September 6, 2011 by admin

One for the mantlepiece

Right, down to business. I’m settled in, after a pilates class and a pitta bread lunch, in my office (read: ‘on my bed’!) to blog. So, to blog! Where shall I start? About the fact that I threatened to take legal action against the company building my new website this morning; they are taking a VERY long time and are VERY difficult to get hold of (all sorted now, I have apologised – typical me, mad one minute, apologetic the next), or about how bloody miserable the weather is and how I’d like to be back in the South of France or where?  Well….as promised last post I think we shall get to the job in hand of our 3D/4D (static image/moving just to clarify the difference) scan experience. CRGH•Pregnancy

A 4d, produced Baby scan DVD!! I’m so excited, I just had to post a quick one about this!

September 1, 2011 by admin

The time has come for another (better) look at Baby Pregnantcitygirl. By another look I mean a 3d/4d scan. For those of you not in the know these are the latest in technological advance in the baby scan world; the Rolls Royce of scans! You can have them done anywhere from 25 weeks onwards, the later in the pregnancy the better the result. We have had a few 3d scans done already, early on at the CRGH and one that I mentioned in a previous post privately at the Royal Free (we are so dying to meet the new addition that scans are the closest we can get for now, plus it’s lovely to see clear images). We still don’t know the sex, Mr Pregnantcitygirl was so adamant that just this once (there has to be a once or it just isn’t fair is it?! ) I’ve let him have his way. This way, I can continue ruling the roost for the foreseeable and unforeseeable future! I’m hoping that at the scan on Monday maybe the face will give it away, it hasn’t in the past though so far, annoyingly!  We wanted something special this time so we have opted for the 4d scan offered by Cocoon4D in Wimpole Street; http://www.cocoon4d3dbabyscans.co.uk Continue Reading
