My Little Piccolo – The New Kids on the Babyfood Block – One to Buy

July 15, 2016 by admin

Well it’s been a while now since pouches of baby food hit the market thus changing the way we feed our little ones for good. No more annoying jars, no more spoons necessary (although personally I decant unless we are on the run – I’d like my child not to expect to suck food out of a pouch too often!), Pouches are fab though. Heat up in a bowl of hot water, don’t, if you are on the run. They are just amazing, as we all now know. Continue Reading

BBQ Fit For a King – Summer Entertaining

June 18, 2016 by admin

We’ve had a funny summer so far this year. Funny as in odd rather than joyful! The good old British Summer seems to have surpassed itself in 2016. We’ve barely seen the sun at all and temperatures in May – with two Bank Holiday weekends to contend with have been dire. It all started with oysters.* I love oysters. I adore oysters. Yummy! So fresh and delicious with lemon, shallot vinegar and a good dash of tabasco.  You either love oysters or you hate them. The first time I tried them I wasn’t too impressed but somewhere along the way, our love affair began. Continue Reading
