Baby’s First Footprints – Keepsakes from Memorymakers 

  
It took me a few months to get this done. Little one number two doesn’t sleep you see. No matter how much coaxing, he’s awake far too much for an old lady like me to be able to feel normal enough to do normal everyday things let alone think of keepsakes. 

However, one Wednesday not long ago, I dragged us to Mothercare in Brent Cross – no far and in reality he was going to be awake anyhow, so it’s awake at home or awake out, as every mum will tell you the same – out is easier!

This is an absolute must if you can possibly do it. We chose Memorymakers as we already had a gorgeous set of imprints with his photo below from them for Alexander and wanted a matching pair. They are the leaders in the market with years of experience and a massive network through Mothercare. They do imprints, outprints and 3D castings, all hand -crafted by true craftsmen with the prints themselves taken in store by professional Print Takers – believe me you need to be professional to take prints in clay from small wriggly babies. 

We booked online, picked a suitable timeslot and just turned up at our nearest store. Ten minutes of manoevering baby’s foot and hand, form filled out with a promise to email our photo (you can give a hard copy on the day if you prefer) and we were done.
