Now, this is a brand that I am more than happy to champion and one that I love and use at home. Fairtrade and organic and recommend by midwives but also a business set up by two mumpreneurs who spotted a gap in the market and filled it with gorgeous, gentle and effective products. A percentage of profit is donated to children’s medical research charity, Sparks, plus the products have won loads of awards too. So read on to see a bit about what they have to offer and give the products a go – so much nicer to be chemical free! P.S the Rock the Cradle scalp oil works wonders for cradle cap!

‘Why Organic’…
Some 75,000 chemicals may come into contact with a baby’s skin. Along with the skin’s ability to absorb up to 60% of any one of these substances, it’s no wonder that skin sensitivity is on the increase. Committed to sourcing the purest, organic ingredients they can find and certified by the Soil Association, Organic Monkey recognise the benefits of using organic ingredients. Heidi and Claudine, founders of Organic Monkey, say “Organic products are gentle enough for delicate skin and less drying, better used and received by your skin than synthetic substances. Organic ingredients haven’t been subjected to pesticides or artificial fertilisers and release less greenhouse gases so are better for the environment too.”
