Lighten Up – It’s Summer – hob salons review

So, it’s been six months since my last foray into hair. Six long, sleepless months. My hair has actually held up pretty well even if my sanity hasn’t!

I’m back at hob salons  but this time I’m closer to home in one of their newer salons in Belsize Park. Just a year old but with the same dedicated staff who never seem to want to leave such a great place to work.

Chloe is doing my colour today and has managed to make me feel really comfortable and confident in her suggestions – not easy given that I’ve spent most of my hair career moving from one colourist to another – never the right blonde! With nine years of hob experience – I’m in good hands as she works through my hair to create the perfect fine highlights.

Stuart B is cutting – I’m getting secret (invisible) layers that add volume and I can’t wait! The consultation process here is really thorough and I think that’s what really puts you at ease. Stuart talked through product, condition, different styles and changes in my hair post giving birth. He’s also really nice to deal with (as is Chloe  of course!).

hob have come on leaps and bounds since their first salon opened thirty years ago. The level of professional and dedication to the company by the staff is glaringly obvious and that’s what gives the salons that extra something that creates great hair over and over.

The finished product, I’m happy to say, is amazing. I’ve found a local salon that charges local prices with the quality of a global winner. No wonder they pick-up award after award after award. They win with me. Hands and heads down. Give them a go and you won’t look back.
