Tiddler & Other Terrific Tales 

Today we were fortunate enough to take a second trip to Theatreland in as many weeks. Two weeks left of the school holidays and a heavily pregnant mummy and son have been out and about.

This visit has taken us to the Leicester Square Theatre to see the magical Scamp production of Tiddler and other Terrific Tales from Julia Donaldson and Axel Sheffler, creators of the Gruffalo.

This fifty minute show had the three performers; Joe Carey, Peta Maurice and Darren Seed singing, dancing and doing some wonderful puppetry that kept the audience enthralled. Playing out four stories with very colourful characters indeed; The Smartest Giant in Town, Tiddler, Monkey Puzzle and a Squash and a Squeeze, they fitted seamlessly together with some toe-tappingly good songs to boot. The variety in style and song keeps the attention throughout, even for the younger audience members (age 3+ recommended). Running until 31st August.
