The New ghd Eclipse – A Groundbreaking Styler for Unruly Hair from People who Know!

Today’s review is actually a guest post. I was sent the new GHD Eclipse styler to try and immediately thought of my mother as the best person to review it. ghd is an iconic British brand and as we all now know, the only company to go to for hair straighteners. The new Eclipse is touted as a new generation styling technology breakthrough. Using a patented tri-zone technology with three sensors in each plate, a constant temperature is kept throughout. They also have the coolest body yet. You only need one stroke to tame even the most unruly hair.

They are available to buy here and cost £195.

So without further ado, please find following, my mum’s short but sweet review and just so that you know, she really does have unruly hair!

I was lucky enough to be recipient of  a brand new ghd Eclipse hair styler. I had never used anything like this before as I was worried about damaging my hair. However both my daughters who had been using them for a long time insisted that they were both safe and easy to use and that the ghd Eclipse keeps a constant 185 degrees which is the perfect temperature for styling without damage. I had my doubts! Firstly , I need to explain that I have fine but very wavy unmanageable hair that needs taming almost every day. Not only do I blow dry my hair after washing but also every day after getting up  I have to wet and style my hair using various products that inevitably make it feel sticky. Now after using the Eclipse I find the effects last longer and I don’t have to use any more sticky hair products.

The Eclipse is easy to use. It heats up instantaneously, is manoeuvrable and will work equally well with long or short hair including fringes. I would recommend it to anyone and it has really revolutionized my hair styling. thank-you ghd!
